Here's What You'll Get

When you sign up for the Craft Business Newsletter, you'll receive an email once per month near the beginning of each month.

Very occasionally, if there's something time sensitive I think you may want to know about, I may send an extra email. But for the most part, I stick to a once a month schedule.

1. The Newest Craft Business Articles

I'm always working on a new article or making a big update to an older article. The newsletter will direct you to any articles that are new on the site each month, so you won't miss the latest information.

Often, when I update an older page on the site, I change it so much, it's practically a brand new article. If I make huge changes to an older article, I'll let you know about that in the newsletter as well, so you can see the most up-to-date information.

2. Timely Tips Organized for A Handmade Business Owner's Schedule

The Craft Business Newsletter brings you information when you need it.

There are hundreds of articles on this site. You can always use the search box at the top of each page to find what you need. But there's a seasonal flow to selling crafts, and sometimes, especially if you're just starting a craft business, you might not know when you need certain information.

You may not realize the application for that September craft show could be due as early as February. Or you might not appreciate just how beneficial it is to start planning for the holiday season early in the year.

That's why I've organized existing articles into monthly action steps - Timely tips based on what craft business owners are typically working on at certain times of the year.

For example:

In January, when you're likely focused on setting business goals for the new year and applying to craft shows, you'll get a list of what to do in January to grow your craft business with links to articles about those relevant topics.

In April, when you're probably starting to think about getting ready for the upcoming craft show season, you'll start seeing links to plenty of craft booth display ideas.

In September and October, I'll send you Christmas craft booth photos and current holiday shopping trend reports, so you don't let the busy and potentially lucrative holiday season sneak up on you.

My goal when I write the monthly timely tips is to help you find useful information when you're most likely to need it.

Special Editions

Every once in a while, if there's something important or time sensitive I feel should be highlighted in a special edition newsletter, I'll send out an extra email that month.

Special edition emails are rare and definitely the exception, not the rule. I know your time is precious, and I will always be respectful of that.

Respecting Your Data

Your information stays with the company I use to build this website and send my newsletter, SiteSell. In every newsletter there's a link you can click to unsubscribe completely, and I will never give anyone else the information you provide when you sign up to receive the newsletter.
